Hi!

my name is Vanessa, I live with my husband and our cat in Wehrheim near Frankfurt and I am the creative mind behind "Black Cat Studio -Art-". My studio is named after my cat "Odin", who passed away in 2015 and inspired me to give back some of the joy he brought to my life to others through my work.

Even as a child, my two great passions were horses and art. I always drew anything that came into my head or jumped on any available horse. I got into the model horse hobby in 2003 when I received my first Classic Breyer model as a birthday present. From then on, I threw myself fully into the hobby, read all the old magazines I could get my hands on, exchanged ideas with other collectors in forums and quickly started repainting my old model horses. The first Cust or even OSC attempts also came about in the following 1-2 years. And although I stopped collecting or casting from time to time, I finally dared to make my dream come true and turn my hobby into my profession after getting back into collecting in 2015.
